The past couple of weeks have been very busy as the leaf peepers have returned for their annual visit to our beautiful region. Some of that activity has rubbed off on the local real estate market as the general activity level has increased and we’ve had two solid statistical weeks. Here are the figures for the past two weeks.

Weekly Recap 10/11 – 10/17:

New Listings – 11 new properties came on the market last week ranging in price from $94,000 to $2,500,000.

Price Reductions – 8 properties were reduced in price with an average price reduction of 9.1%.

Under Contract – 5 properties went under contract last week, 2 under $250,000, 2 between $250,000 - $500,00 and 1 between $500,00 - $750,000.

Sold – 2 properties closed last week: one sold for $145,000 which was 74% of asking price, and one sold for $420,000 which was 94% of asking price.

Weekly Recap 10/4 – 10/10

New Listings – 12 new properties came on the market last week ranging in price from $139,000 to $1,389,000.

Price Reductions – 12 properties were reduced in price with an average price reduction of 9.6%.

Under Contract – 8 properties went under contract last week, 3 under $250,000, 3 between $250,000 - $500,00 1 between $500,00 - $750,000, and 1 between $750,000 - $1 million.
