Over the past weekend the Vermont mls system (VREIN) was merged with the system being used in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine (NNEREN). The new system is similar to the system we had been using but not identical and we are still going thru the learning curve with the new system. It appears that all of the data converted over properly but the way in which I can access the data appears to have a few bugs. Fortunately the old system is still up and running during the conversion period. So the numbers I am reporting this week are from the old system. I believe they are correct but will rerun the numbers on the new system once the bugs are worked out and will report any corrections in a future post.

On to the weekly recap:

New Listings – 12 new properties came on the market last week ranging in price from $98,000 to $660,000.

Price Reductions – 15 properties were reduced in price with an average price reduction of 7%.

Under Contract – 3 properties went under contract last week, 1 under $250,000 and 2 between $250,000 - $500,000.

Sold – 2 properties closed last week: one sold for $325,231 which was 82% of asking price, and one sold for $385,000 which was 97% of asking price.
