Last week I spent a much needed week on Cape Cod with my family. The weather was perfect and there was much sun, sand, and surf but very little time for blogging. So here are the weekly recaps for the past 2 weeks.

Weekly Recap 8/9/10 – 8/15/10:

New Listings – 10 new properties came on the market last week ranging in price from $275,000 to $1,900,000.

Price Reductions – 15 properties were reduced in price with an average price reduction of 8.1%.

Under Contract – 6 properties went under contract last week, 1 under $250,000, 3 between $250,000 - $500,000, 1 between $500,000 - $750,000, and 1 between $750,000 - $1 million.

Sold – No properties closed last week.

Weekly Recap 8/2/10 – 8/8/10:

New Listings – 17 new properties came on the market last week ranging in price from $115,000 to $2,500,000.

Price Reductions – 6 properties were reduced in price with an average price reduction of 8%.

Under Contract – 5 properties went under contract last week, 3 between $250,000 - $500,000, 1 between $500,000 - $750,000, and 1 over $1 million.

Sold – 8 properties closed last week: one sold for $135,000 which was 84% of asking price, one sold for $192,000 which was 78% of asking price, one sold for $223,700 which was 94% of asking price, one sold for $280,000 which was 84% of asking price, one sold for $288,000 which was 96% of asking price, one sold for $298,000 which was 100% of asking price, one sold for $325,000 which was 87% of asking price, and one sold for $410,000 which was 105% of asking price (it was new construction and the price must have included additional work or upgrades).
